AWANA

Overview

The AWANA program at Grace Life Bible includes ages 3 through sixth grade.  Our program, which includes Cubbies, Sparks, and T & T, is held Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the school year.

What is AWANA?

AWANA, one of the largest youth discipleship ministries in the world, is an acronym for Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed.  (2 Timothy 2:15) AWANA's goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him.

Program Description

  • At Grace Life Bible, our AWANA program is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the school year.

  • Preschoolers can attend Cubbies for the 2 years before starting kindergarten, and Sparks and T & T clubs are for elementary aged students. We have a great team of very experienced and enthusiastic leaders to mentor and disciple students.

  • During an AWANA club, students learn and recite Bible verses from their handbooks, sing, hear a Bible lesson, and play fun games.  We have prizes and awards for Bible memory.

  • AWANA is a time-tested and effective youth ministry.  Recent research shows that of students who complete the AWANA program, over 90 per cent continue to attend church and serve in church ministries into their adult lives.  For more information about the background and doctrinal statement of AWANA, please see Awana.org.
