2023 Awana Registration

Hello All!
We will be having an AWANA Pre-Registration Meeting on Wednesday, August 30th from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Grace Life Bible Church (10606 Burt Circle)108th Street is closed right now from the South.  We suggest you enter via 108th & Blondo St
This is an ‘Open House’ type of meeting.  At this pre-registration the following (hopefully if my order comes in!) will happen:

-Parent/Guardian will check over the information on the registration form to see if it is current.
-Parent/Guardian will sign the bottom of the form indicating that we have permission to photograph/videotape their child.
-Parent/Guardian will pay for handbook(s)/uniform(s). We accept cash or checks only.  If paying by check please make the checks out to
Grace Life Bible Church.

-Parent/Guardian can see which Leader/Room their child will be in for the Club year. (This can change but hopefully, it will remain the same as you see it on the 30th)
-Parent/Guardian and child can leave.  :)

At that time, (hopefully!) the Clubbers will receive their handbooks and may receive their uniforms.  For those of you who have new Cubbies, new Sparks, new T&T Clubbers, are new to the program or your Clubber’s uniform no longer fits (or you can’t find it!) WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE MATERIALS.  IF PAYING BY CHECK, PLEASE MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO
GRACE LIFE BIBLE CHURCH.

When you come into the building we will have completed registration forms for Clubbers who attended club last year.  For those who are new, we will have semi-completed forms.  We would ask that you complete the form and then pay for any materials your Clubber may need.  Each registration form will need to have a parent signature at the bottom of the form.  This ensures that the information on the form is current and that we have your permission to photograph and/or videotape your child.
Please let us know if you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing you at the pre-registration meeting on August 30th.  Otherwise, we will see you at our first AWANA Club Meeting on September 6th.

Sincerely In Christ,
Sharon Reiss-AWANA Commander
Terri Spencer-AWANA Secretary

Overview

The AWANA program at Grace Life Bible includes ages 3 through sixth grade.  Our program, which includes Cubbies, Sparks, and T & T, is held Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the school year.

What is AWANA?

AWANA, one of the largest youth discipleship ministries in the world, is an acronym for Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed.  (2 Timothy 2:15) AWANA's goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him.

Program Description

  • At Grace Life Bible, our AWANA program is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the school year.

  • Preschoolers can attend Cubbies for the 2 years before starting kindergarten, and Sparks and T & T clubs are for elementary aged students. We have a great team of very experienced and enthusiastic leaders to mentor and disciple students.

  • During an AWANA club, students learn and recite Bible verses from their handbooks, sing, hear a Bible lesson, and play fun games.  We have prizes and awards for Bible memory.

  • AWANA is a time-tested and effective youth ministry.  Recent research shows that of students who complete the AWANA program, over 90 per cent continue to attend church and serve in church ministries into their adult lives.  For more information about the background and doctrinal statement of AWANA, please see Awana.org.
