Galatians 3:15-29
Newer is not Always Better
How do you seek to grow spiritually? By focusing on a list of things you should do, and not do?
Or, by faith in Christ? Cultivating love for Him, and allowing him to transform and replace your fallen desires, attitudes?
Do you know what the law is for? Why it existed?
Do you know how to use the law in your life?
· Practically - When you are condemned as falling short, how do you respond?
Whenever we fall short of perfection – we can acknowledge our shortcoming, turn to Jesus and thank him for his perfect life, sacrifice, resurrection…
Yes, I have fallen short – but Jesus didn’t. and I believe he is the Son of God, who came to rescue redeem and forgive my sins by taking them on his body on the cross.
Does it turn your eyes inward or outward?
Do you work harder, or can you give up your own pursuit of righteousness and accept the righteousness that comes through faith?
